But while our core belief is in keeping things simple, our garments are anything but 'basic' - instead they are characterized by careful attention to each and every detail; from the cut, to the color, to our custom fabric and washes.

FABRIC GOODNESS:
Every fabric starts as a single thread so we place emphasis on only sourcing the highest grade cotton as the basis for all our garments. We have developed a proprietary modal-cotton blend, exclusive to Basic Goodness, giving our pieces exceptional natural comfort with an unrivaled softness. What's modal, you ask? Modal is a synthetic man made fiber that we knit with our cotton yarn to create a garment with a unique feel and fit that is the cornerstone of the Basic Goodness brand. Our unique cotton modal blend results in a product that has a light vintage feel - with the perfect amount of stretch - and a softness we know you'll love.
WASH GOODNESS:
We spend countless hours blasting our garments with sand and washing them with fine lava rocks and natural enzymes to create the unique natural worn finish characteristic of the Basic Goodness brand. This process gives each garment a perfectly worn vintage outer surface while keeping the inside soft and silky against your skin.
